Yugen Hojicha Powder 50g - Stone Ground Roasted Japanese Green Tea

Yugen’s original stone-ground hojicha powder was developed in response to customer demand, initially only available in-store. Unlike typical hojicha made from later harvests like bancha, this powder uses first flush tea leaves, lightly roasted to preserve their natural aroma and flavour.

Ground slowly using traditional matcha-style stone mills (just 40g per hour), this method minimises heat, resulting in a smooth, aromatic powder with a fine, uniform texture. The result is a premium roasted tea powder with a gentle flavour and rich, nutty aroma.

Ideal for lattes, desserts, baked goods, and savoury dishes, this hojicha adds depth and warmth wherever it's used.
